NTSU achieves Investing in Volunteers Award

Monday 20-06-2016 - 15:54

NTSU has recently been awarded the Investing in Volunteers Quality Standard in recognition of the excellent work we do with student volunteers.

This national accreditation is the UK quality standard for all organisations who work with volunteers and demonstrates the quality of the volunteering experience we provide for students at NTU. Our IIV committee has worked hard over the past year in order to meet the criteria which is set out in the award assessment and are thrilled to have achieved the benchmark, which lasts until April 2019.

NTSU President, Jeremiah Anson, said “This is a great achievement for the Union, we are very proud. Our volunteering program has a lot of positive impacts for students’ experience and personal development and also brings benefits to the local community and organisations that we work with. Achieving national recognition is very satisfying and will motivate us to continue to deliver high quality volunteering opportunities for our members.”
