Nottingham Trent Students’ Union (NTSU) has soared up the league table in this year’s National Student Survey (NSS), achieving a satisfaction rating of 81%; the 9th highest score in the country!

The Students’ Union has leapt 37 places since last year’s survey to finish in joint 10th position in a table of over 130 institutions nationwide. This impressive feat comes on the back of NTSU winning Officer Team of the Year at the National Union of Students (NUS) Awards 2014 and also scooping another NUS award for topping the table for employee engagement with a 98% satisfaction score in a national survey.

This result marks a fantastic year of achievement here at NTSU which also saw the successful launch of our brand new flagship building at the city campus as well as our highest ever voter turnout in the annual officer elections; another example of the high level of student satisfaction and engagement with the Students’ Union.

NTSU’s VP Education, Matt Scrimshaw, said “This is an incredible achievement which reflects the amazing effort by the staff here at NTSU. I am extremely proud to be part of one of the highest performing Unions in the East Midlands and indeed nationally. We hope to build on this success over the next couple of years and be in the top 5 nationally.”
