The Point

Situated on Clifton Campus opposite the shop is The Point. A pub, diner and club venue all rolled into one, it's the place on campus which students should make themselves the most familiar with.

On top of being the place to meet friends, grab a bite to eat and sneak in a quick beer or three, the venue is home to a digital jukebox boasting 2 million tracks, plasma screen TVs, a whopping 13 foot big screen for watching the footy (we screen all midweek and weekend games on Sky Sports and ESPN), five pool tables and free Wifi Internet; ask the staff for the login details!

Bar open Mon-Wednesday: 10am-11pm, Thursdays: 10am-midnight, Fridays: 10am-7pm then 9:30pm-2:30am, Saturdays: 12-11pm.

Diner open Mon-Friday: 10am-7pm , Saturday & Sunday: 12-7pm.

Costa open Mon-Friday: 8am-6pm.

Costa Coffee

The front of the venue houses a cafe serving Costa coffee, teas, hot chocolate, cakes, salads, sandwiches and other tasty treats in a relaxing environment which is ideal for taking a break in during the day. Wifi-enabled. Opening hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs and 8am-4pm Fridays.

The best thing about The Point however, is not the friendly atmosphere or the fun you'll have there, it is that fact that every ounce of profit the bar makes is fed back into the Union to enhance your life at Nottingham Trent University!
