► Societies Assembly
Societies Assembly is the highest governing body of societies. It consists of a representative from every society, the VP societies and the Societies Management Committee. Any student may attend and vote at the meetings of the Assembly.
During meetings, motions for the Code of Practice (the governing document of all societies) are discussed. The Assembly also acts as a forum for sharing of support and best practice between societies. The Assembly regularly hears applications of new societies, and votes on whether they should be affiliated.
The Assembly convenes five times per year. These are the dates of the meetings:
