► City Campus

The City campus is the main campus of NTU.
NTSU operations at our City site are temporarily based on the ground floor of Chaucer Building on Goldsmith Street during the redevelopment of Byron House.

The ground floor of Chaucer (in the SU Express shop space) is where you will find our nationally accredited Student Advice Centre, which can offer you professional advice on a variety of topics from money to educational and personal issues. The reception area is at the rear of the shop, and is the place to go for general enquiries. Your Elected Board of Directors can be found in the office area at the back of the shop, who will be able to answer all of your queries relating to any area of the SU, and how to remain involved during the Byron redevelopment.

NTSU still operates a shop as per usual here in Chaucer - so you can still pop in and pick up groceries, sandwiches, meal deals, chocolate, pick n mix, lots of offers, phone top ups, stationery and branded clothing.

For somewhere to relax and enjoy a bite to eat or a drink, you only need to walk a little further up Goldsmith Street to Spanky Van Dykes, which will be operating in association with NTSU to give you a day- and night-time social space and Entertainments while Byron is being revamped. Also, Climax devotees can rest assured that their favourite Saturday night will still occur, just in another one of the Trent Army's well-loved venues: Ocean Nightclub on Collin Street, near the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre.
