We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to support the Venue Management, undertaking administrative duties to assist the correct and effective operation of the Venues systems and procedures. Based at our Clifton Campus, although at times, you may be required to work from our other campuses in the City Centre and at Brackenhurst.

NTSU seeks Trustees - Up to 3 External Trustees are required with expertise and experience in relevant professions or related sectors.
2 Student Trustees are also required – this is an ideal position for student applicants who find it difficult to fulfil a full-time sabbatical position e.g. part-time, distance learners or vocational courses.

Purpose
To safeguard the vision and values of Nottingham Trent Students’ Union, establish the organisation’s vision and strategic direction, and ensure that the union meets the needs of its members. In addition trustees will ensure that the union strives for good practice across all of its activities and will review and monitor the organisation’s performance and progress towards its objectives.
Main tasks
• To safeguard the vision and values of NTSU
• To participate in formulating and regularly reviewing the strategic direction of the organisation.
• To ensure that the policy and activities of the organisation constitute good practice and are in keeping with its aims.
• To ensure that the organisation functions within the legal and financial requirements of a charity.
• To monitor and review progress towards the organisation’s objectives.
• To work as effectively as a member of a Board of Trustees responsible for a democratic, membership organisation.
