This month together with the NTU Pride Society and Nottingham Trent University we are celebrating lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender (LGBT) History Month. This month is dedicated to celebrating the lives and achievements of the LGBT community. This is the 11th year of celebrating LGBT History Month; it was launched in the UK in 2005.

The aims of LGBT History Month are to promote equality and diversity; increase the visibility of LGBT people, their experiences, history and lives and raise awareness of issues affecting the LGBT community.

We are very fortunate to have some fantastic events scheduled throughout the month including; film screenings, discussion groups and the return of Trent’s original LGBT Club Night ‘Neon’.
