NTSU is one of the most diverse unions in the UK. This page is meant to be a starting point to access a range of organizations who can support you throughout your time here at Trent. You can also find information about the LGBT society here at Trent, and various upcoming events. If you have any questions at all regarding LGBT issues, then don’t hesitate to contact your representatives:

LGBT Officer 2012/13

Hi my name is Ben, Benji, Benjamin, Benj (whatever!), and I am your LGBT Student Officer at Nottingham Trent Students' Union. This is your page for your info and events, so if there is anything you would like to see here, or if you have anything at all you would like to discuss, I will always reply to emails.

I am a second year Human Resources & Business Management Student, and I am a lively, enthusiastic and motivated person, which is one of the main reasons why I thought I would be great for this role. Nottingham Trent is a great place to study no matter what your sexual orientation, race, ability or gender is, and Nottingham as a city itself is one of such diverse and exciting culture.

I will be holding assemblies at least once each term, so please come along to discuss any issues you have, anything you think could be improved or anything else you would like to raise among the NTU LGBT community. I am easily contactable on the details below, so please get in touch and I look forward to meeting you all during the next year.

I’ll be working with the LGBT Officer for the next year to ensure you are represented by NTSU and that you have the best experience during your time at Trent. My job entails looking after student welfare, which covers issues from housing to finance to sexual health. If you have any queries at all, just drop me an email and I will be more than happy to help!
