Welcome to Trent RAG!

Hello and welcome to Trent RAG! So, what is RAG? RAG = Raising and Giving. It’s the Union’s fundraising group that gives you the chance get involved in crazy and enjoyable activities to raise vital funds for charities worldwide.

Let’s look at the bigger picture: RAG is a phenomenon within students' unions nationwide, with each team helping to raise millions of pounds for worthy causes through raids, events and challenges. Last year, Trent students travelled across the UK and beyond, raising an amazing £194,680.30 charity - completely smashing our target of £100,000! This year – with your help – RAG is going to be even bigger and better, and is aiming to raise a massive quarter of a million pounds!

RAG Totaliser

Keep your eyes peeled on our totaliser below to see how Trent RAG is getting on this year ...

*** The money collected is for the 3 Rag Charities, Childreach and the Varisty Charity.

We know you’ll be skint a week after your loan payment, so why should you be raising money for charity? Because raising hundreds is pretty cheap to do, and it’s a huge amount of fun!

You could be strutting 7-legged into Nottingham’s pubs, taking your bucket to the streets dressed in your wackiest clobber, or travelling to the other side of the world without spending a penny... Our RAG calendar is going to be jam-packed with exciting fundraising activities ranging from the more sensible to the downright absurd.

Joining Trent RAG is the perfect way to make new friends and incredible memories, whilst adding that extra sparkle to your CV. And most importantly, you’ll be supporting the organisations that really need your help.
