These events are like normal RAG events, but on a much bigger scale - bigger challenges, bigger commitment, (hopefully) much larger amounts raised for our charities, and ultimately a bigger sense of pride in yourself for getting involved in something epic during your time at Trent!
Like all of our activities, RAG Big 5 events are student-led - but here at NTSU we'll support you as much as we can so that you can take part and meet your sponsorship goals. We also acknowledge that many of these events aren't for the faint-hearted - so if you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch and we'll be happy to give you more info.

RAG Big 5: Big Jump - Skydive!
Saturday 21st April 2012 About: For the third year running we're going to be jumping out of planes at a height of 13,000ft! Strapped to a qualified parachuting instructor you can experience the thrill of a 120mph freefall...for free! Pay your deposit via the Upcoming Events section of our website now!!

Expedition Everest - Summer 2012 About: If you want to take part in the ultimate challenge, then why not scale one of the world's highest mountains or trek the world's longest wall on behalf of Childreach International? Next summer, we're taking teams to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Nepal to climb up to Everest base camp, and to China to traverse the Great Wall. Childreach will even take you to see where your money is being invested, and you also have the option of extending your visit so you can have some travelling time after your expedition!
