► What's in it for me?

Attending Stride sessions is a great way to enhance the skills you need to succeed at university, as well as learn some practical life skills and improve your CV for when you begin your career after NTU - and best of all, it's completely free to all Trent students! You can also earn Stride certificates based on your attendance.

Stride Offers all NTU students the chance to get your Stride certificate accredited under the ILM Developed Programme. For an ILM Stride Developed award information pack email: Stride@su.ntu.ac.uk

Stride Certificates are recognised by the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce - helping you to show local employers that you have the skills they need in their organisation.

Stride also work in partnership with NTU's Libraries and Learning Resources (LLR) to bring you sessions which will benefit not only your time at university, but give you transferable skills which will help you in your future. More info on these courses can be found here. The LLR courses also count towards your Stride Certificate, so make sure you mention Stride to your LLR session leader so that a record can be made of your attendance.
