Employability Programme Term 3

Assertivenes: Whether it's learning to express your own opinion and feelings, or saying "no" without feeling guilty, being assertive can really help you.

Job Hunting: In these difficult times, we all need all the help we can get finding jobs. Whether it is a part-time job to boost your bank balance at uni, or a full-time graduate position, this module is here to help you find the perfect job.
 

Building Your CV: If you’re looking to get a part-time job or land the perfect graduate job, this is the module for you. This session looks at different types of CVs, and how you can put together the perfect one for you.

Managing Projects: This module concentrates on specific project management tools, but also draws upon knowledge gained from previous modules to make sure subordinates are delegated to effectively and are highly motivated to participate fully in a set project.

Interview Technique: This module is designed to help you gain the skills needed to perform well in an interview setting. It covers effective verbal communication techniques, tips on how to answer those tricky questions, and gives an outline of what to expect at a formal interview.

All About Application forms: this session will give you tips and tricks about how to get the most out of applications forms, from the person spec to the covering letter.
