Unipol
Unipol is the home of student housing, first established in Leeds in 1975 to help students find the best housing, they came to Nottingham is 2007. They provide training, advice, and most importantly, accreditation, not only for students, but for Landlords, agencies and large development providers.
Unipol work with Nottingham Trent Students Union, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham City Council, as well as Nottingham University and Nottingham University Students Union, to ensure and improve upon the quality and practices of the student accommodation market.
The Accreditation scheme works by landlords applying to become accredited; this involves not only meeting legal standards but also setting higher standards so as to improve the quality of the student accommodation market. Once accredited, they receive preference advertising on the Unipol website.
