Socialising plays a huge part in your university experience and, for a lot of people, so does alcohol.

It is important to be aware of how much you are drinking and how it can impact your health and that’s exactly what Alcohol Awareness Week is all about.

It’s taking place between 19th - 25th November this year and the Students’ Union has a programme of activities planned throughout the week that is designed to promote responsible drinking.

Monday 19th November

Smoothie Bike, City SU, 12pm - 2pm

Cycle your way to a free smoothie with our on-campus smoothie bikes. The faster you pedal, the smoother your drink!

Tuesday 20th November

Alcohol Awareness Week Stall, Clifton Pavilion, 1pm - 3pm

Come and chat to us about alcohol awareness at your Students’ Union. We’ll be on hand at Clifton with some helpful resources for you to take home and share with friends.

Wednesday 21st November

Free toast at First Base, City SU, 7pm - 9pm

Drinking alcohol on an empty stomach is never a good idea. That’s why we’re giving away free toast at First Base.

Thursday 22nd November

Alcohol Awareness Week Stall, City SU, 12pm - 2pm

Come and chat to us about alcohol awareness at your Students’ Union. We’ll be on hand at City with some helpful resources for you to take home and share with friends.

Friday 23rd November
