BHM: Hate Crime Awareness Week Panel

In this discussion we will be exploring how racism manifests in 2019 as part of Hate Crime Awareness Week. We will discussing overt systemic racism as well as everyday racism and microaggressions. We will also be considering whether or not people feel comfortable reporting racial hate crimes to the police and their reasons for doing or not doing so.

 

The panel will be chaired by Clive Foster - Multi-faith manager at NTU.

- Syeda Taniya Khadri - President of the New Black Society

- Mel Chilekwa - President of the Debate Society
