Hi Harry, thanks so much for submitting this big idea. It got taken to our student council meeting and got passed. With regards to Clifton campus the new wellbeing services will be opening there in December in a convenient place on campus. We also have mental health champions who are there to support you if you need them. If you have any other questions feel free to email me at VPCommunity@su.ntu.ac.uk.

Myself, and a few other students that I have spoken to feel that there is a lack of mental health awareness on Clifton Campus. Here are some ways in which I would improve things.

1.) We need more signs for student support services. At the moment, it feels like it is out of the way, and not many people know where it is. This includes the doctors as well, not many people know where to find it.

2.) Put posters up around campus, with numbers for support, and where you can go to seek help if you need it, for example if your worried about your studies, or have things on your mind in which you need to talk to somebody about. Leaflets could also be posted through accommodation doors, rather than the 50 pizza delivery leaflets we receive.

I’m sure there are many other ways we could improve awareness for mental health, but this is a few ideas.
