NTSU in Mansfield

As an NTU student studying at Mansfield, you are automatically a member of Nottingham Trent Students’ Union. That means you can access the support and opportunities we offer to make your time as a student the best it can be.

Representation

The Students’ Union has a number of representatives in place to make sure your voices are heard, from Academic Reps who act as a voice for the students in their school or course, to our Executive Officers who represent you on everything from your studies to your welfare. You can find out more about them and contact them here on our website.

Support

We understand that university life can be challenging sometimes. Our Information and Advice Service offers free, confidential advice on academic issues, housing, money matters, mental health and more. Book an appointment with an advisor here.

Activities

Societies are a great way to meet new people and try new things, if you would like to get involved in starting a student led society or Give it a Go activity at Mansfield contact opportunities@su.ntu.ac.uk

We have over 120 societies here at NTSU across our other campuses. From Architecture and Anime to Spanish and Sign Language, there’s one for every interest and they host events and activities throughout the year which give you the chance to have fun with likeminded students.

Find a A-Z list of all our societies here.

Events

Socialising has a huge role to play in your university experience. NTSU aims to work with students to provide opportunities to engage in events both on and off-campus. You can also access events at other campuses, including vintage fairs, day trips, live music and more.

Keep up to date with all our latest events here.

Venues

Elsewhere we have buildings in the City Centre, Clifton and Brackenhurst campuses. They’re designed to be your home away from home and feature everything from bars and diners where you can catch up with friends, to our on-campus shops for all your daily essentials. All our members are welcome to use our facilities across our different sites.
