Communities

Do you have an idea for something you want to make happen at NTU? Do you want to connect and empower other students? Create an NTSU Community.

What is a Community?

NTSU Communities are short-term projects with clear end goals. If you have a great idea for a fun one-off event, if you have identified a demand for a specific opportunity on campus or if you want to raise awareness on a certain issue- a community is the way to achieve this quickly. NTSU Communities are also networks that connect students based on shared identities or experiences. These communities create time and space to solely focus on the needs of that network.

Why should I join a Community?

Just like societies, communities are an opportunity to get involved, meet new people and try new things but without the same long-term commitment. Unlike societies, starting a community lets you achieve something important to you without having to create and sustain a membership-led group. As a community leader, you will recieve support and training to do this.
