Want to develop your leadership skills and volunteer for a cause you really care about? Start a student-led volunteering project with NTSU!  

It’s a unique opportunity to manage your own project, develop valuable skills and experience and give back to your local community and setting one up is simple. Just follow the steps below.  

Step one

Come up with an idea

Whether you have a full project in mind or just some initial thoughts, it all starts with an idea.

Step two

Create your project plan

using the online form here. The form will ask questions including; the aims and objectives of your project, how sustainable your project is and how much funding you may require so be sure to have a think about this before submitting the form.

Step three

Meet with the Volunteering Coordinator

Once you’ve submitted your project plan, we’ll get in touch with you to arrange a meeting to discuss and develop your project.

Step four

Final approval

Once your plan has been finalised with the Volunteer Coordinator it will be sent for approval.

Step five

Deliver your student led project

Congratulations you are ready to go!

Step six

Remember to check back in once your project is up and running

We’d love to hear all about it plus we’ll arrange training, regular one to ones and continued support moving forward.
