Varsity FAQs

Who can come to Notts Varsity? 

Students, friends, family, staff members and alumni from both Universities can come to Notts Varsity. Current students can log into www.trentstudents.org and buy tickets from www.trentstudents.org/varsity.  

 

If you’re not a current student at Nottingham Trent University and you want to buy a ticket, you can register as a guest here . Once you have registered on the Students’ Union website, please email varsity@su.ntu.ac.uk with your request to purchase tickets. 

  

How and when can I buy my tickets? 

Tickets will be available to buy from 10am on Tuesday 26 February 2019. You can purchase tickets online through the SU website here: https://www.trentstudents.org/varsity 

 

If tickets are still available on the day for any events, which we can’t guarantee due to demand, tickets will also be sold on the doors at venues before games begin. 

 

How and when can I collect my tickets? 

You can collect your tickets from the Students’ Union Box Office on Shakespeare Street, City Campus between 10am – 4pm Monday-Friday.  

 

You have until 3pm the day before each event to collect your ticket. 

 

Please bring your purchase confirmation (either printed or on a mobile device) and photo ID with you to collect your tickets. Please note you cannot pick up tickets on behalf of someone else. 

 

Do I need to bring ID with me to the events? 

Yes, you may be asked to provide your student and/or photo age ID at the events, especially at venues serving alcohol (please check individual event descriptions). so please make sure you have these on you at all times. 

 

Can I use my e-ticket or online ticket receipt for entry? 

No, you must redeem your e-ticket or online ticket receipt for physical tickets at your Students’ Union. E-tickets and online ticket receipts will not be accepted at any Notts Varsity venues. 

 

What happens if I’ve lost a ticket? 

Sorry but we don’t take responsibility for lost tickets, so please keep your tickets safe. 

 

Can I get a refund on my ticket? 

No. Unfortunately, Notts Varsity tickets are non-refundable. 

 

How can I get to the Venues? 

All venues for this year’s series are accessible via public transport. Please check individual event pages for further information on the location of venues: https://www.trentstudents.org/varsity

Terms and Conditions 

Entry 

You’ll need to bring the physical entry ticket to all ticketed Notts Varsity events. 

ID required for entry 

You may be asked for ID to confirm that you’re the ticket purchaser when you enter a venue. 

No food or drink will be allowed through entry points and your bags may be searched. Alcohol will be on sale at some venues – please check individual event descriptions. 

Rights of admission reserved by venue management. 

General 

We’ve avoided reserving seats so you can sit where you like, but please be considerate and don’t leave gaps between seats. 

Tickets are non-refundable.
