NTSU student networks

Want to meet students with shared values and experiences like yours? Join one of our networks.

What are NTSU’s Student Networks?

Our Student Networks bring together students with shared values and experiences to improve the student experience at NTU.

Any student can join any of these networks for free using the links below. They are the best way to meet students with shared values and experiences like yours.

Each network is led by a Chair and Vice-Chair, who are elected by and from the network. They are responsible for representing the students in their network, growing and developing their community, and ensuring their time at NTU is the best it can be.

How can I get involved?

Anyone who identifies as a member of any of our Student Networks can join. Use the links below to learn more about any networks you’re interested in it and sign up.

If there’s a network you’d like to see that doesn’t currently exist, let us know.

Interested in leading a Student Network by becoming its Chair or Vice-Chair and representing the voices of your fellow students? Look out for vacant positions you can run for in our elections.

Why should I get involved?

Becoming part of our Student Networks is an opportunity to:

  • Organise events and activities for your student demographic
  • Improve the university experience of students in your demographic
  • Meet like-minded students with shared values and experiences like yours
  • Increase understanding and awareness around the issues affecting students in your network

Want to lead a network?

If you've joined a network and want to get more involved in running it, nominate yourself to be a Network Chair or Vice-Chair. 'Chair' and 'Vice Chair' are just fancy names for the students who lead each network.

Leading a network allows you to shape it, grow your community, and improve life at NTU for you and your peers.

The roles are voluntary and last for this academic year. They involve minimal time commitment, so they won't get in the way of your studies. And you'll receive training so you're confident in your role.

They're a great way to get leadership experience for your CV, meet people, make friends, and get more from your time at Trent.

If you want to challenge yourself, make life at NTU better for you and your peers, and you think you'd be a good fit, nominate yourself to lead a network today.

You've nothing to lose and everything to gain.
