Student Mental Health...Have your say

Tuesday 30-01-2024 - 16:02

NTU is being considered for the University Mental Health Charter, marking a significant stride in prioritising student wellbeing and mental health at NTU.

Developed by Student Minds in collaboration with various stakeholders in the Higher Education Sector, this charter wants universities to adopt a whole-university approach to mental health, and become places that promote the mental health and wellbeing of all members of the university community.

We're now gearing up for an on-site visit on the 11th and 12th March 2024. Student Minds reps will conduct focus group and interviews, assessing NTU against the Charter's 50 principles.

Now, we need YOU!

We're looking for 10-15 students to join our student panel, no need to be a policy wonk, we just want you to share your unique experiences and perspectives of NTU. If you're keen to be involved, fill out the expression of interest form before 26th February 2024, 9 am. To show our gratitude, all focus group participants will receive a £25 love2shop voucher.

If selected, you will need to attend:

Online Teams Briefing -  5th March (2 pm - 3 pm)

In-person Focus Group - 11th March 2024 (10 am - 11:30 am), at the Students' Union on City Campus

Help us shape the future of mental health at NTU. Your voice is essential!
