A group of students headed to Stonebridge City Farm earlier this month to lend a hand as part of our volunteering programme and it was one of our most successful projects yet.

Volunteering

They helped out with a number of tasks to make space for the farm’s new meerkat enclosure and both students and staff had great things to say about the experience.

Charli, one of the students who volunteered at Stonebridge, said: “Volunteering is such a great opportunity to meet new people and do good for the community. My fellow volunteers and I had a great time meeting the animals and doing odd jobs to help the community farm. All the volunteers were amazing, super friendly, have huge hearts and take such care of the farm, their volunteers and the animals.”

A huge thank you to Charli and all the other students who took part - it was great to see you coming together to make a difference.

If you’re interested getting involved in an opportunity like this one, we have a number of volunteering projects planned over the next few months which you can find out more about here.
