Peer Support Scheme

Have you experienced hate at NTU? Do you feel you have no one to talk to who can relate to how you feel?

Our Peer Support Scheme can help you by offering support from students with similar experiences, problems, or conditions to yours. The scheme is free, confidential, and independent from NTU.

Many of the scheme's student volunteers have already faced and overcome adversity and can relate to how you feel. They can use their experience to offer you practical support, encouragement, and hope. and they can help you explore your options and signpost you to helpful services so you can resolve the issues you are dealing with.

Interested in volunteering?

Peer Support Volunteers give back by providing essential support to other students that have experienced hate or discrimination during their time at University. It might be that you've experienced something similar yourself, and now want to be there for students in the same position. Or, you are passionate about the wellbeing and freedom of others and want to raise awareness of the Peer Support scheme.

Nottingham Trent Students' Union is always looking for volunteers who are passionate about giving back. Whether you want to be there for other students like you, or develop your skills, knowledge and talents ready for the wider world after University - we'd love to hear from you!
