We need a Faith network because Faith is the only marginalised group that does not have a network. It is important to have someone (a chair) that students can go to in order to raise our concerns, or any changes at the university that are needed to make the university more inclusive for people from different or marginalised faiths.

Creating and including a faith network which recognises the distinguishes between religious and cultural identities is a crucial area of development required at our university. This will not only contribute to the amazing efforts of NTSU, who I acknowledge are currently engaging with many ways of improving diversity and inclusion, but it will also tackle the marginalisation of religious identity and practices at the university and provide a network that focuses on the specific issues that affect religious and faith experiences in higher education.
