The NTSU Ents committee has discussed the potential for a student car boot sale. There are both logistical and health and safety concerns, specifically regarding checking

each item before safe. If you would like to have further conversations about this idea please email your VP Activities, Jack Purdie (jack.purdie@su.ntu.ac.uk

My idea of the first student flea market caters to all students of NTU and a flea marklet can be hosted on the weekends if permissible by NTSU.

The flea market is aimed at British and International students in all years of study as many final years may be departing from NTU and may find it difficult to sell household items online such as desks, books, utensils, clothes, shoes, bags and electronic items, makeup, jewellery,  in contrast to that students who are entering univeristy for the first time away from home can easily purchase such items in the student flea market and for both student parties such flea markets can be proven successful as every student can benefit from such events. Even items that students of NTU sports or varisty that no longer have use for can be sold to new students wanting to buy attire at a cheaper price etc.

I think we as a commitee should email students who would be interested in hosting an event or attending even, to see what kind of response we get from the first trial, if proven successful we can later on create an annual or seasonal student flea market.
