Thank you for your Big Idea. It was discussed at Student Council on 8^th December 2020 where it was rejected. Council felt like the funding which would be required to provide free eye tests to students would not be proportionate to the impact that it would have. It was also argued that changing the criteria for free eye tests should be something to lobby the government to change rather than provided by the university or students' union.
