Students with a hearing aid(s) require the free NHS batteries to be changed every 10ish days and often they can run out when least wanted for example during a lecture.

Currently, the closest collection places (from the city centre campus) for Hearing aid batteries are the Ropewalk hearing centre or Radford Health Centre which are around 10 - 20 minutes away (walking) taking climbing the steep hills and crossing main roads into consideration. This means that if a hearing aid dies halfway through the first of a back to back lecture then that leaves students approximately 1 hour 30 minutes not being able to hear anything (or very little) of the lectures.

For this reason, I propose the University or the NTSU contacts NUH (Nottingham University Hospitals) Audiology and register the campus health centres as free hearing aid battery collection points (I have checked with the NUH and this is perfectly possible).
