Thank you for your Big Idea. Student Council discussed it on 20th March, by which time the government was already offering tests for delivery online, and the university now offers them for collection from testing sites.

I would like to propose the idea of the university providing home testing lateral flow kits. As a student living at home and not in Nottingham, I will have to drive over 30 mins to come into university just for the test. It would make a lot more sense to be able to access the testing kits from home so that I do not have to travel to university just for the test. This will allow me to come into campus for my face to face teaching, whilst still having done the tests.

I also live at home and it would be impractical to come in, however, the government already offers this service with delivery to homes within 2 days. You can find out more here: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests
