Many students cook meals in advance to bring to uni in order to save money and or for dietary reasons. Currently, the options are limited for those who wish to bring food from home: either eating it cold or using the small Dryden student kitchen, which is an inconvenience to access. This not only limits the options students have for bringing food on campus but also means those students who don't study at the city campus don't have the ability or facilities to heat their food while on campus. 

By fitting a microwave in SU buildings across NTU campuses; students would be enabled to bring meals from home and enjoy them hot, improving student experience on campuses and not forcing them to buy food while on campus, pushing further expense onto students.
