Many universitys provide their students with lanyards to carry their smart cards on. Seeing as at NTU we use them for a whole range of things surely the concept of having our own NTU Lanyards available for purchase or just general dispersall would make sense. Lecturers and tutors have them but we as students do not, it would make using the card more accessbile as having to carry it in your pocket can be an annoyance when you need to scan in and out of buildings. Equally there are oppertunities to buy other lanyards if you desire to do so, however showing dedication and pride to be an NTU student is surely something worth showing with a student lanyward. It just gives us that chance to have ease of access whilst giving refference to the fact that we're NTU students.
