Description

Welcome to the NTSU Zoo Society!

We are a group of animal lovers, keen to gain experience and knowledge in the industry.

We aim to complement your academic studies by providing opportunities to build real-world experience and industry knowledge outside of the classroom. Our programme of events includes educational workshops, practical sessions, guest speaker talks from professionals working in the zoological and conservation sectors, fundraising initiatives, and organised trips to zoos and wildlife parks across the UK.

Brackenhurst Campus provides an exceptional backdrop for our society, with its specialist Animal Unit home to over 250 animals from more than 70 species set within a 200-hectare estate. Whether you're studying Zoo Biology, Animal Science, Wildlife Conservation, or a related discipline, the Zoo Society offers a space to deepen your understanding of the industry and connect with like-minded students.

Membership is open to all NTU students regardless of course or campus. We are always keen to hear from members about events and activities they'd like to see, and we welcome new ideas throughout the year.

To stay up to date with our latest events and announcements, follow us on Instagram or get in touch with the committee through the Intagram page or  NTSU website.
