Description

Psychology Society is designed to bring students of all backgrounds together. Everyone is welcome; whether you study psychology, are passionate about the subject or just want to be part of a community that loves having fun... come and join us :)

This society shall have the following aims:

  1. Create a supportive community for students of all subjects. We want to create an environment where everyone is welcome and appreciated.

  2. Provide opportunities for members to gain practical knowledge of careers in Psychology, including insights from employers for networking.

  3. Organise regular events for all members, including at least one international trip.

This society shall have the following objectives:

  1. The society will have regular meetings and socials to promote active attendance and allow members to make new friends. Encourage sober events to aid the wellbeing of students and support their mental health through different activities.

  2. Create networks with employers and professionals to encourage members to explore all future possibilities. Help students to find work experience and source different work experience placements for all subject areas.

  3. Maintain the popular weekly OCEAN socials, whilst also taking trips to cities, partnering up with other societies from different universities. We hope to take at least one international trip to Krakow, where we will visit important historical, psychology related, landmarks.
