This Big Idea was Completed by the Student Council. The introduction of International Support Hubs have provided further support for many students facing finaical issues.

Dear NTSU,

I am writing to bring to your attention a concern regarding the current process for addressing financial and fees-related queries at the Newton Building. The existing system, which involves standing in line for a minimum of one hour to reach the person in charge, has proven to be both time-consuming and inefficient.

It is observed that the lines are particularly long and are mostly open on Wednesdays and maybe another day, causing inconvenience to those seeking assistance. To streamline and improve the overall experience, I would like to suggest the implementation of more prompt, efficient, and regularly functioning financial services for the Newton Building.

Many of these queries can be easily addressed online, reducing the need for individuals to physically stand in line. This not only saves time but also aligns with the modern, technology-driven expectations of service delivery. Additionally, I have noticed that after making payments, there is a need to specifically request confirmation of the payment receipt from the finance department. It would be greatly appreciated if a system could be implemented to automatically generate and send confirmations upon successful payment. This would not only provide peace of mind to the payee but also contribute to a more transparent and efficient financial transaction process.
