Want to meet students with similar interests to yours and socialise with them regularly?

Join an NTSU society. It’s one of the best things you can do at NTU.

What is a Society?

Societies are student-led groups that bring together people who share common interests by offering regular, varied and inclusive activities. From fashion or architecture to cultural groups or politics, there are over 130 you can join, and they meet on a regular basis to socialise and share new experiences.

Why should I join a Society?

Being part of a society is a great opportunity to meet new people, try something new and have fun. By getting involved, you will develop skills in leadership, teamwork and communication, and gain experience in organising events which will look great on your CV. You will also make lifelong friends and have the best fun to look back on.

Students who join societies consistently tell us that it is one of their favourite things about being an NTU student. If you are thinking of joining a society or just want to meet some new people, get involved – you won’t regret it.

How can I get involved?

It's easy. Sign up to a society through this website and get in touch with them via their email address or social media. Not sure how to find them? Contact opportunities@su.ntu.ac.uk if you need a little help.

Can I start a new society?

Sure. Follow this step-by-step guide.

But, before you do, take a look at our dormant societies you can restart.

Do you have an idea for a one-off event or short-term project you want to organise? Or do you want to create a free space for important discussions?
