College should do an event talking about mens mental health as a woman I cant relate to most men and there mental health.

Since growing up I have started taking it into consideration more because we all assume all men are fine but really alot of them are suffering from mental health issues and they struggle to come out about it because for some reason theres this big thing surround them that they aren't aloud to show weakness.

My boyfriend suffers with his mental health and he don't want to open to people because hes scared to be laughed at and I think that's not fair. He should be able to feel like he can be open or ask for help anytime he shouldnt have to feel like hes being weak just because hes talking about what's going off.

I really think it be great if we could do think its important to let men know that's it's okay to be a little weak at times as then you can grow from accepting that.

Men should be able to not feel embarrassed or stupid or even weak just for having mental health problems. We all have them and for some reason men get laughed at more and get told to grow up when they act negative.

I'm not sure on statistics but I know alot of men hide there depression and other illnesses and some even commit suicide without anyone even knowing or having an idea they are going to do it and that's sad.

We should talk about it more so hopefully it helps people understand not to always assume men are strong and fine and it will also help men come out and talk about how they feel. Even if that means we have helped them open up to one of there mates it makes there life just that but better by helping them see it's okay and there are others who are all in the same situations.
