NTSU are seeking to fill 4 roles that make up our Executive Team. These roles are full-time paid positions that give students the chance to be part of decision-making across NTU and NTSU and have your say in the strategic direction of both organisations, ensuring student voice is at the forefront of everything they do.
You will be involved in every aspect of NTSU, working alongside permanent staff who are employed to support your campaigns and help students have the best experience at NTU.
Duration: 12 months, commencing 01 July 2026 and finishing 30 June 2027. You will also be required to attend a two-week induction period in June 2026, which will be paid for.
What you’ll be doing
Your year will focus on student representation, leadership, and delivering change across NTU and NTSU.
- Represent students’ views and ensure student voice is central to decisions across NTSU and NTU.
- Work with permanent staff who support your campaigns, projects, and priorities.
- Engage with students across all campuses to understand needs, feedback, and ideas.
- Shape and drive strategic priorities aligned to your role (President / VP role area).
- Collaborate with other Executive Officers and stakeholders to deliver improvements and outcomes.
- Be visible and approachable at student events, meetings, and key university moments.

Eligibility
No experience is required — you just need to be eligible as a current student.
- No experience is required for this role.
- You must be a current student in order to be eligible.
- If you are not due to graduate Summer 2026, you will be required to evidence you have permission from your course to take a year out of your studies (you cannot be a student and a full-time Executive Officer at the same time).

- Location: Multi-campus (City, Clifton, Brackenhurst, and Mansfield)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks
- Pay: £25,146 per annum
