A confident, hands-on Operations Supervisor to help lead the action at our vibrant Clifton campus venue — across the bar, diner and coffee shop. You’ll keep things running smoothly, your team motivated, and our members having a great experience.
Requirements: Supervisory experience in a bar or hospitality environment. Evening, weekend and unsociable hours required.
Support the day-to-day running of NTSU’s retail outlets, including our flagship SPAR store on Clifton Campus. You’ll lead, train and motivate a team of casual student staff, ensuring high standards in customer service, merchandising, stock control and health & safety.
You’ll also manage stock and cash-handling procedures, EPoS data entry and sales analysis, coordinate promotions and point-of-sale activity, and help uphold the premises licence — playing a key role in a profitable, welcoming retail offer for students.
Salary note: £25,623 (Band E) *pending pay award. Reports to the Assistant Retail Manager.
Join NTSU's Membership Services team to lead our independent Advice Centre, making sure students receive high-quality advice, advocacy and representation when they need it most. You'll manage and develop a team of advisors while working directly on complex and sensitive cases through University procedures.
This role goes beyond casework. You'll use casework trends, student insight and evidence to influence institutional policy and practice, work closely with the Student Voice team to support elected officers and campaigns, and act as NTSU's Designated Safeguarding Officer. A great opportunity for a collaborative leader who wants to shape the future of student advice and advocacy.
The role includes some evening and weekend work. Interviews are expected to be held on City Campus on 23 July 2026.
