What is Club of the Week?
Each week the Students’ Union recognises the achievements of NTU’s sports clubs by awarding two Club of the Week awards – one for an on-pitch sport and one for off-pitch.
Both clubs win £50 to put towards their club as well as a featured space on the NTSU website.
This week’s winners:
On-pitch winner: Men's Hockey
What the club achieved:
The Men’s Hockey team had some excellent results this week with their 1s, 2s and 4s all securing wins over UoN in the three biggest matches of the season and securing a solid lead at the top of their BUCS tables.
Off-pitch winner: Netball
What the club achieved:
Netball took part in the Christmas Shoebox Appeal this week for the second year in a row. The team gathered shoe boxes for the campaign with helps give disadvantaged children presents to open at Christmas.
