For this year's Anti-Slavery Week, join us as Hope For Justice put on an exhibition showcasing the reality of modern slavery, its history and the statistics affecting the UK and the world today.
This is a chance to be educated, liberated and enlightened.
It's a chance for you to learn more about our 'Hope For Justice' society and charity as this educational exhibition is set to raise awareness and train our students on how to safeguard themselves from harm, exploitation and modern slavery.
On Monday 18th of October, Hope for Justice will launch the exhibition with their 'Vision of Hope' talk held alongside University representatives. The week-long awareness exhibition consisting of moving images and short films will then be closed off with a 'Thank You For Taking a Stand' talk on the 22nd.
With anti-slavery week being one of our most important weeks in the year, this week-long exhibition is a chance for you to be trained and made aware of the issues surrounding modern slavery today. It isn't just part of our history, but is the reality for some modern-day lives.
Come along and join the University as we open our eyes together, to face the reality that is modern slavery and the harm it causes to our community today.
