NTSU x NTU Arts Film Night

As part of Sexual Violence Awareness Week, NTSU is hosting a free film night at the Savoy Cinema, screening the powerful biographical drama Bombshell (2019).

When Fox News presenter Gretchen Carlson files a lawsuit against founder and CEO Roger Ailes alleging sexual harassment, the impact is far greater than anyone could have imagined. Her decision sparks a chain reaction, leading high-profile journalist Megyn Kelly and numerous other women to come forward with their own experiences, igniting a movement that reverberates across the media industry and beyond.

Directed by Jay Roach and written by Charles Randolph, Bombshell is based on the real accounts of the women at Fox News who challenged a culture of abuse and silence. The film stars Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly, alongside Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, delivering a compelling exploration of power, courage, and accountability.

This screening forms part of NTSU’s wider programme for Sexual Violence Awareness Week, using the film as a space for reflection, awareness, and conversation. Tickets are free, and all are welcome to attend.

Doors at 4pm. With the film to start at 4:30.
