As the term draws to a close and we approach the festive season, we are incredibly proud of all your hard work and dedication throughout the first term. Your achievements are truly commendable, and now it's time to head home for a well-deserved and restful break. Enjoy the holidays and recharge for the exciting year ahead! 🎄✨
NTSU, Nottingham Trent University & CEES Society are aware of the concerns that may occur to those students who are staying in Nottingham over the 4-week period and are worried being isolated. As Care Experienced & Estranged Society, we will be around Christmas period over the 4 weeks, hosting the events for you all - This does also apply to Mature Students and international students who are not going home. Just because we are Care Experienced & Estranged Students Society, we are battling the isolation and the increase of Mental Health that occurs over the Christmas Period, so it is our role to offer opportunities to allow you to socialise, engage and create positive memories for our NTU Community before returning to 2nd Term.
Our events will include:
Additionally, Unite Foundation (All of Us) is hosting an event for Care Experienced & Estranged Students on Christmas Day - We have a fun evening of games, food, pressies, films, crackers and just being there for each other on Christmas Day and over the holiday period. Please book here - Book
We are still looking for more to do outside of Nottingham Trent University, like going to Sherwood Forest for the day etc... You can also host your own events and connect with our community.
We will be hosting the events on Trent Students Website, under the Events or search us up on CEES Society and all the events will be published there. Click here
You are not alone ❤️
