Apply Now for Your Chance to Win £300
Think you've got what it takes to impress a packed crowd? Trent's Got Talent is back on Monday 23 November 2026, and we're looking for NTU students to take to the stage!
One of NTSU's biggest events, Trent's Got Talent sells out every year, bringing students together for a huge night of incredible performances, unexpected talents and plenty of entertainment.
And this year, we're looking for our next big act. Could it be you?
We're looking for all kinds of talent!
Whether you're a singer, dancer, comedian, magician, musician or have a talent that's completely out of the ordinary, we want to see it!
You can apply as an individual or as part of a group, and there's no limit to the types of acts we're looking for. The more variety, the better!
Don't worry if you've never performed at an event like this before. If you've got something worth showing off and feel confident performing in front of a crowd, we'd love to see your audition.
Your chance to perform on a huge stage
Trent's Got Talent isn't your average talent show. Successful applicants will get the opportunity to perform in a professional venue with full-scale lighting, sound and production, in front of hundreds of fellow students.
You'll be competing against other talented NTU students, with fellow students judging the performances and a £300 cash prize for the winner!
If selected, you'll need to be available for rehearsals on Sunday 22 November, filming ahead of the event and the main show on Monday 23 November.
How to apply
Ready to show us what you've got? Applying is easy!
- Complete our online application form.
- Tell us a little about yourself and your act.
- Submit an audition video or a link to a video of you performing.
Your audition video doesn't need to be professionally filmed. We just want to see your talent and get an idea of what you could bring to the show.
Applications close Sunday 1 November 2026, so make sure you get yours in before the deadline!
Rather watch the show?
