October is Black History Month (BHM), and NTSU has organised a series of events celebrating the history, experiences, and success of the Black community.

Our goal is to celebrate and educate people about the diversity and global impact of Black culture.

Our newly formed BHM committee comprises four students who have organised an events and activities programme for the month, which are listed below.

Get involved

We encourage everyone to get involved in Black History Month, either by sharing your own experiences or educating yourself on the importance of Black history and present-day culture and issues.

We recognise that Black history isn’t limited to one month a year and are committed to working year-round to effectively represent our Black students and staff.

Our Black Futures programme ensures year-round events, campaigns, and resources to help create a more equal future for everyone.
