Five things you need to know about graduation
Graduation is here for Nottingham Trent Students! Here are five things you need to know from your students’ union.
1. Graduation clothing
If you would like some clothing as a souvenir of your NTU graduation, head over to Newton building between Monday 16th and Friday 27th July for an item of your choice! The team will be there between 8:30am and around 5pm (they’ll stay later if your graduation goes on for longer. And speaking of the clothing stand…
2. Discounted tickets to Masquerade Ball available from the stand
That’s right! Want to celebrate your graduation in amazing fashion? We have tickets to our magnificent Masquerade Ball for just £18 on the stand! The perfect price to go with friends and family to this one-of-a-kind event.
3. Free Masquerade Ball masks on arrival
We know those Masquerade Ball masks can be pricey, so we have free masks available on the door for guests! Of course, it goes without saying that these stocks are limited, so be sure to arrive on time to avoid disappointment!

4. What’s on at Masquerade Ball
One thing is for sure, the magnificent Masquerade Ball is an unmissable summer spectacular - the perfect way to celebrate your graduation. Look forward to a red carpet entrance fit for VIPs into a free drinks reception, stilt walkers, aerial performers, a live covers band (the one who absolutely killed it at Trentival LDOT), a chocolate fountain, casino area and video games, a video booth, and an official photographer. Oh, and Sigala will be there for an extra special performance!
5. Don't give up your NUS discounts just because you're leaving
Just because you’re graduating doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of all those NUS discounts… You could apply for an NUS Extra card now before you lose your student email account for the full three years - that’s 1095 extra days of money off after you leave uni!
