Free Brack night bus – this week and next: what you need to know

Friday 27-05-2022 - 09:55

Good news: Brack students can get home from our end of year celebration events with a free night bus from City SU to Brackenhurst Campus this week and next.

How does a free night bus back to Brack after a night out in the city centre sound?

NTSU and NTU have organised a free night bus for the next week so you can enjoy our end of year celebration events without worrying about how you’ll get home at the end of the night.

The buses will operate on the following days:

  • Friday 27th May – Get home from Bonanza at City SU: 3am from City SU to Brack (technically Saturday morning)
  • Saturday 28th May – Get back to the city after the Brack Ball / afterparty: 2:30am and 4:30am from Brackenhurst campus to the city centre (technically Sunday morning)
  • Wednesday 1st June – Get home from the last Ocean of the year: 3am from City SU to Brack (technically Thursday morning)
  • Friday 3rd June – Get home from City LDOT: 3am from City SU to Brack (technically Saturday morning)

Please note: The buses operate during the night of the dates stated, so they will fall on the following calendar day. For example, the Friday 27th night bus at 3am will be in the early hours of Saturday 28th, etc. The buses are free of charge to students. Please act responsibly when using the bus service. Any inappropriate conduct could be subject to NTU’s student code of behaviour.

The buses are provided by Tiger European buses, which you can recognise by their clearly identifiable logo. NTSU staff will be there to ensure that only students board the buses.

All that said, we know nights out don’t always go as planned. If you can’t make the night bus and you have no money for a taxi, you can always use our safe taxi scheme. NTSU has an agreement with Nottingham Cars that enables you to get a taxi home and pay for it the following day. Find out just how simple it is here.

We hope you have a great last week of term, and these buses make it that bit better.
