With more than 30 events taking place across Nottingham, there’s plenty to choose from – from big nights out and live entertainment to games, socials and activities.
Booking is simple, but we’ve put together the steps below to help you get started.
Start by selecting the campus you’ll be living on or closest to.
The Freshers programme is slightly different across City, Clifton and Brackenhurst, so it’s important to choose the right campus before you start booking.
Have a look through the full programme and decide which events you’d like to attend.
Make sure you check the dates and times before booking, as some events take place at the same time and you may need to choose between them.
When you’ve found an event you want to attend, select the ‘Book with Pass’ button underneath the event.
If you’re not already signed in, you’ll be prompted to log in to your FIXR account before continuing.
Select the ‘Freshers Pass Holders’ option and follow the instructions on screen.
Use the + button to add one ticket to your basket, then select ‘View basket’ followed by ‘Reserve’.
You’ll then be asked to agree to the event terms and conditions and select your hall or accommodation.
Follow the same process for each event you’d like to book.
You don’t need to print your tickets. Your ticket will include a QR code which can be scanned from your phone when you arrive at the event.
Most evening events are for students aged 18+, so make sure you also bring an accepted form of photo ID with you.
Once you’ve completed your bookings, your tickets and QR codes will be available in your FIXR account under the Bookings tab.
You’ll also receive your booking confirmation and QR codes by email.
Once that’s done, you’re all set for Trent Freshers.
If you haven’t got your pass yet, there’s still time to get one.
An official Trent Freshers Pass gives you access to choose from the full programme of official Freshers events, so you can build your own schedule around the events you actually want to attend.
Pass holders also get early access to secure individual event tickets, giving you the best opportunity to book the biggest and most popular events before general sale.
We know plans can change while you’re waiting for results or confirming your university place.
If you buy a Freshers Pass but don’t end up studying at NTU, you can request a refund in line with the Freshers Pass refund terms.
You can find more information about event booking, passes, tickets and refunds on the Trent Freshers FAQs page.
