Platform magazine has been shortlisted for two national awards after relaunching this year.

NTSU’s student magazine was out of print for two years until their recent relaunch which saw them produce two printed editions and create a brand new website.

Now, Platform's Editor-in-Chief Eve Smallman has been shortlisted in the Best News Story and Outstanding Commitment categories respectively at the Student Publication Awards.

Eve said: "Platform's growth this year has been amazing and I'm so pleased that our hard work has been recognised on a national level. My committee and all the members have been so supportive and enthusiastic, and Platform wouldn't be where it is now without them."

The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 8th April in Cardiff, where they will find out if they have been successful.

Best of luck to the Platform team!
