Life at NTU is about so much more than lectures and assignments. There are countless ways to get involved, meet people, and make the most of your university experience. Here are just a few…
Societies are one of the best ways to make the most of uni – meet people who share your passions, make friends, and create lifelong memories. You can meet societies at your campus Freshers Fair or even join before you arrive.
If you’re unsure what you’d like to get involved in at uni, or you want to try something different without any kind of long-term commitment, check out our Give It A Go (GIAG) programme. We run weekly one-off activities that could be anything from singing or gardening to making coffee art or axe-throwing.
It’s super random, lots of fun, and a great way to try something new. We also run weekly crafts sessions and weekend trips to top attractions around the UK.
If you’re interested in student representation, democracy, and making the world (or at least uni) a better place, we have plenty of voluntary student rep positions you can apply for. More details will be shared soon, but it’s a great way to have your say and make a difference.
Looking for part-time work while you’re at uni? There are plenty of opportunities around Nottingham. NTSU also hires hundreds of student staff to work in our on-campus shops and venues – a convenient way to fit work around your studies and meet other students.
You can always find our current vacancies on the NTSU website. We regularly update it with new opportunities, so if you don’t see anything you fancy now, bookmark it and check back later.
