The School of Social Sciences and the Green Academy at NTU is hosting a panel debate in a Question Time format, where representatives from the political parties, as well as from four local non-governmental organisations (Frack Free Nottinghamshire, Global Justice Nottingham, Friends of the Earth Nottingham and This Changes Nottingham) will be contributing with their views on the outcomes of COP21 and general reflections on the challenge of climate change.

The audience will get to join the debate and ask their questions to the participating speakers. Some of the topics that will be discussed are:

Views and questions may include:

• a view from the governing UK political party
• concerns from non-governmental organisations
• what students can do about climate change
• a business perspective on climate change
• issues of climate justice.
